WHAT IS P.L.A.Y.?
Providing Lacrosse for Active Youth, or P.L.A.Y., is SLC's non-profit organization.

In the past years, SLC has created many opportunities for Sacramento's youth to grow their game and be seen by starting elite teams that travel to some of the nations most exclusive
tournaments, creating summer and fall leagues for additional local playing and practice, and proving camps and clinics for intense training and instruction.  Throughout this process, we
have had players and their parents approach us and ask for scholarship opportunities, and until now, we have not been able to offer as many as we would like.  

With the economy being what it is today, our scholarships are in high demand.  We are planning to field four travel teams this year: U19 Boys, U18 Boys,     U15 Boys and U18 Girls and
we would like to be able to offer 3 scholarships per team.  We would also like to provide at least 5 scholarships for summer league and 5 scholarships for fall ball.  

In the past we have had some generous donations, and have even provided some scholarships through SLC's work program, but we need your help to be able to provide lacrosse to
everyone who want sot play, regardless of their financial standing.
IS THERE A MINIMUM AMOUNT FOR A DONATION?
NO!  We are happy to accept any amount of money for a donation. All donations are eligible for a tax write off.
CAN I CHOOSE WHERE MY DONATION GOES?
You can ask for your donation to be made to a specific player, and we can honor that request.  If you are making a general donation, it will go to the are where it is needed, or requested,
the most.
